ABOUT US
WHO IS THE CHUBBY BEAGLE?
Sally, our namesake, was a sweet, goofy, and chubby beagle who taught us that life is meant to be experienced genuinely and unapologetically. Her energy and personality were exactly what we aim to embody in our animation and art. Sally will forever live on in our hearts as the original Chubby Beagle.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to entertain audiences and bring a smile to their faces while achieving the project’s goals. Whether to inform, inspire, educate, touch hearts, or build a fanbase. We approach each task with the same level of care and enthusiasm, regardless of the size of the project.
OUR GOALS
Our aim is to bring joy to animation without relying on AI or overseas animation studios. We see AI as a useful tool, but not a replacement for artists. We closely collaborate with all the artists on our team, utilizing their strengths and passions to create the best possible product. We strive to expand our studio into various platforms and avenues, recognizing the need for animation and artwork in multiple places. Rather than depending on just one avenue, our goal is to deliver high-quality art and animation using new techniques and technology to a wide range of platforms, regardless of how the future of media evolves.
OUR FOUNDERS
Bill and Karen founded Chubby Beagle in 2018. They bring together their skills in both television and game animation to create entertaining animations on various platforms. Before starting their studio, they gained ten years of experience in animation, working for companies such as Bento Box, Warner Bros., USC, and Google.
They have now shifted their focus to developing their studio, which aims to support and empower artists in sharing their unique stories. Their goal is to establish a diverse and sustainable animation studio, producing movies, shows, music videos, YouTube content, and original intellectual property (IP).
When Bill and Karen aren’t busy with Chubby Beagle, you can find them playing video games, in the garden, or outside playing volleyball…badly.
